Certified Organic Essential Oils

The essential oils used in our products are 100% pure steam distilled oils. The fragrances they produce are exceptional and therapeutic.

We are careful to only use Organic Essential Oils. When it takes 4,000 pounds of rose petals to make one ounce of rose essential oil it is only wise to go organic. Imagine the amount of pesticides used in growing 4,000 pounds of rose petals under conventional standards.

Essential Oils are highly concentrated and potent oils extracted from plants, leaves, flowers, roots, rhizomes, bark, resin, seeds and fruits. They have been used for centuries for their healing and therapeutic properties.

Aromatherapy is the art of treating the body, mind and spirit with an aromatic from nature. BeeCeuticals Organics utilizes aromatherapy when choosing scents for our products. For example, our Royal Treatment Night Cream uses an Organic Lavender Essential Oil which studies have shown to promote healthy sleep. Our Queen Bee for a Day Cream utilizes a citrus blend of Organic Lemon, Lime, Jasmine and Thyme, which studies have shown to create alertness and revive your senses.

Avoid "Fragrance"

Fragrance oils and perfumes are blends of synthetic chemicals that give a distinct aroma to a product. These chemicals do not have to be accounted for in the ingredients list individually. A perfume can consist of a hundred different synthetic chemicals and be listed as "fragrance" on a so-called natural product. One of the most alarming, and most common, chemicals found in synthetic fragrances is phthalates, which have been scientifically linked to a number of degenerative diseases. The scientific journal Environmental Health Perspectives has published a study finding that women of reproductive age (20-40 years) were found to have significantly higher levels of monobutyl phthalate, a reproductive and developmental toxicant in rodents, than other age/gender groups*. This is largely attributed to the vast array of phthalates in skin care and cosmetics that women in this age bracket expose themselves to daily. Synthetics are cheap and essential oils are expensive which is why so many companies choose to use a synthetic fragrance. Avoid products that list "fragrance", "perfume" or "parfum" as ingredients. Most allergic reactions from skin care products are due to synthetic fragrances.
